The Financial Statements summarise the transactions of the Scheme and deal with the net assets at the disposal of the Trustees. They do not take account of obligations to pay pensions and benefits which fall due after the end of the Scheme year. The actuarial position of the Scheme, which takes into account the obligations of the GFTU and PCS Sections of the Scheme, is dealt with in the Report on Actuarial Liabilities included on page 3 and these financial statements should be read in conjunction with that report.
