Writing, Speaking and Listening Skills. Teaching covers dealing with telephone calls, office queries, writing emails and formal letters, and workplace linked terminology. ESOL will prepare you to gain national level qualifications in English, Maths, ICT and customer care; as well as making the world of work easier and far more explicable.

This two day course is intended to increase ease and familiarity with the English language, in order facilitate communication and to access further learning and career development opportunities. It is aimed at workers whose first language is not English and who are in the process of learning English. Target: The training is designed for trade union representatives that would like to gain or develop the necessary skills to work more effectively with readily available information technology tools which can allow them to solve everyday trade union issues Delivery Method: The training will be delivered in a classroom-based format. Each person will have access to a computer and the relevant software with the trainer leading by demonstration. Individual assistance will be provided where required. The advantage of this sort of training will be access to a trainer in person and group interaction. This will not only enhance learning but will provide an opportunity to interact with one another in a professional, productive and cooperative way.
