Health & Safety Training Making Safer and Healthier Working Environments

Health and Safety at Work are major issues for trade unionists. Though the tabloids scream about ‘Health and Safety gone mad!’ Trade unionists know that work places that have trade union Health & Safety Reps have a significantly lower rate of accidents, and are far safer and healthier working environments. As a consequence, GFTU has put together a range of courses that build upon the core themes of the role of the Health & Safety Rep and which provide a stage-by-stage practical guide from the basics of the Reps’ work right up to the management duties of union officials in ensuring that the working environment is safer, healthier, more pleasant and productive for us all.
