Building work overview for past year (2019) The building work in which commenced in May 2018 was completed by the end of November 2019. There were delays in both the rooms and the houses throughout 2019. As a result of the development the hotel has increased the room stock to 63 with 2 of the rooms having a combination of 2 rooms and one bathroom bringing total rooms to 65. 2020 is the first year’s full budget based on the redeveloped site. The main Goodacre suite was closed off for a short period of time 14 th January 2019 until the 1 st March 2019. The facility is now able to accommodate events up to 190 cabaret style and 230 schoolroom style. The Houses are due to be handed over from the 1 st December 2019 with the only builders left on site completing snagging issues.
