In my view we should offer this course to all unions more extensively and roll out through the year.

Training the trainers.

This was again successfully delivered by Leeds Beckett University colleagues.

Course programme and new additions.

Affiliates are simply not generally taking up the generic programme and even the special events such as training on cybercrime etc.

A programme of courses has been agreed with Northern College.

The future education proposals need to be brought to a later EC.

A team of people have been agreed to organise the next Youth Development Weekend.

Rule Book

No comments or amendments were made to the Rule book at the last meeting so the attached copy is considered the operative one.

Emplaw due diligence

We have been attempting to undertake due diligence on whether taking over the Emplaw legal back up site would be worthwhile. Key to the due diligence is the feed-back of affiliates. Affiliates were given a free access code and we await responses. A further report at the EC.

Win Win services.

The Operations Manager and I will meet at the end of this month to review the effectiveness of all services and their prospects for income generation.
