CCTV issues and no monitoring via reception plus inability to lock the new doors at the rear of the Hotel causing concern and compromising security / guest and staff safety.

5. Routine safety checks.

Fire alarms.

Routinely checked.

Extinguisher checks.

Done routinely in line with Fire Risk Assessment and recorded.

PAT testing.

Phil Pantling doing annually (Ian to ask for certificates).

Legionella.

Ian to arrange.

Other testing to consider frequency / arrange includes;

Fixed electrical asset testing.

Gas safety certification on appliances (Fire in the Panel Room?).

Kitchen extraction and suppression system.

Report from TYCO regarding the fire protection in the new extension needs a response and immediate intervention. There has been progress on the funding bid for an ESOL Horticulture project with LREC – all to consider how we capitalise on the opportunity.
